Guacamole & Salsa: Cheap, Crowd-Pleaser RM10 Recipe
This Guacamole & Salsa combo recipe is great to break the monotony of my typical diet. Also, you’ll easily pay around RM 20 – RM30+ for this recipe that can only serve 2.
It’s healthy, really refreshing, and definitely a crowd-pleaser. Making this the perfect recipe to impress during a dinner party, for cheap.
Ingredients
This is my wife’s RM20 recipe that can serve a family of 4 as a snack.
If you cook frequently, chances are, you’ll have most of these ingredients at home.
Except for the avocados, which is the most expensive ingredient that can go for around RM 6 to RM 10 per piece.
For Guacamole
- 2 Avocados
- 1/2 Tomato
- 1/4 Red onion (medium-sized)
- 1 Clove of garlic
- Fresh coriander leaves
- 1/2 Chili (large)
- 1/2 Lime
- 1 Tbsp of olive oil
- Salt & pepper
For Salsa
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1/4 Red onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1/2 Chili (large)
- Coriander leaves
- 1 Tbsp of olive oil
- 1/2 Lime
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
There’s really nothing to it. Just toss everything listed above in order, and use a fork to mash the avocados (for the guacamole).
Serving
Best served in separate bowls, chilled with unflavored tortilla chips.
