Should you create content with or without your face?
I get it, running an anonymous online brand is comfortable & safe.
Nobody knows you.
But if you read the above statement out loud, you’ll realize that it’s actually a problem.
Well, because…

Personal branding helps you sell. A LOT.
Increasing Ad costs & AI-generated content that is better than anything you can produce on your own,
The future competition will be FIERCE.
If you’re not convinced, take a look at these popular brands vs their founders:
- Tesla has 20M followers, but Elon Musk has 144M
- Microsoft has 13M followers, but Bill Gates has 62M
- Apple has 9M followers, but Tim Cook has 14M.
I think you see the pattern & my point here.
People follow people. Not a logo.
Also, when people like your online persona, they’ll follow you wherever you are.
Rendering algorithms irrelevant to your growth.
Only faceless brands worry about algorithms.
So, if there’s an easy way to do things, why pick the harder route?

In fact, this is how building my personal brand helped me grow online:
Over the years, creating valuable content for free & sharing my online growth journey has proven to build up my online following.
I realized that more prominent people in my niche started to follow me, including people I idolize.
I figured out what topics make them tick, then create content they’d like.
When they RT or comment on my stuff a few times, all I have to do is to send them a thoughtful DM.
From there, I usually ask them out for coffee.
There’s a special way to DM people to get them to say YES.
These guys end up being proper friends, clients,s or business ventures.
That’s the power of personal branding & digital networking.
