Cohort 1 · 7 Dec to 24 Jan
A 6-week cohort for coaches and consultants who already sell an offer, are done with short-form, and keep stalling on YouTube because scripting, recording and editing take over their week.
Lessons in week 1. Your first video in week 2. Two a week from week 3.
One video takes you a whole week, so the business stops while you make it.
You write a full script, then sound like you're reading it. Or your mind goes blank the second you hit record.
The tutorials want retention edits, B-roll and a cut every three seconds. You have clients to look after.
You published a few. Then client work got busy and the channel went quiet.
You don't need a teleprompter or an editor. You need a loop small enough to run twice on a busy week.
Most people don't quit at the idea. They quit in the middle, where a full script turns into a stiff recording, and the recording turns into a weekend of editing.
The cohort makes that middle small. You plan with bullet points instead of a script, record with a slide and a one-second pause instead of a teleprompter, and do a light edit you can finish in one sitting.
Where most people get stuck
Short lessons, most under 10 minutes. Watch the whole loop end to end and start your idea bank.
Pick the topic you'll be known for, choose your first idea, and take it all the way round the loop.
Your first week at two. The loop starts to feel familiar.
Rest, or bank an extra recording if you feel like it.
Same loop, faster. We work on titles and thumbnails on the call.
Enough videos out to see what your audience responds to. Feed it back into your idea bank.
Lock your weekly rhythm so two a week keeps going after the cohort ends on 24 Jan.
Typically under 10 minutes each. Watch them in week 1, then come back to the one you need whenever you get stuck.
Bring the video you're stuck on. Get unstuck on the call, not three weeks later.
Invite only. Questions answered between calls, and a weekly check-in where everyone posts what they published.
You work alongside other business owners going after the same thing as you, so you're not figuring it out by yourself at 10pm.
I've been making YouTube videos since 2018. That's my whole setup in the photo: one small camera, one mic, a desk in my bedroom in Kuala Lumpur, and my two kids on the other side of the door. If a video took me a whole week, I'd have quit years ago.
The recording method in this cohort is the one from my no-teleprompter video, which 93,000 people have watched. A bullet-point plan, a slide, and a one-second pause. This cohort is that loop, handed over.
Email me by Sun 31 Jan with a link to your check-ins. Changing your mind, or stopping halfway, isn't covered.

No. Your phone or laptop camera is enough. You'll record from a bullet-point plan and a slide, so there's nothing to read off a screen.
Plan on a few hours per video while you're learning the loop. It gets quicker every round, which is the point of doing it twice a week.
Probably not yet. This cohort is for business owners who have tried YouTube and stalled. If you're starting from zero, join the waitlist and start with the free starter kit.
The week of 28 Dec has no call and no videos due. Rest, or bank an extra recording.
Every call is recorded and posted in the Skool group, and you can ask your question there before or after.
You keep the lessons and the loop. If you want 1:1 help after the cohort, ask me inside the group.
Cohort 1 starts Mon 7 Dec. 10 seats.
