Involve Asia’s Before & After
How Does My YouTube Funnel Work?
Your Turn to Get Leads! Follow My 6 Steps:
STEP 1: Identify Your Target Client’s Pain Points
Involve Asia’s target audience is digital creators who want to earn online income promoting affiliate products.
Although not much marketing has been done, word of mouth has begun to spread within the Creator community.
The keyword “Involve Asia” has a good amount of search traffic and low competition, as indicated by the VidIQ score:
We will address objections from prospects in the ‘solutions aware’ phase.
These are people who are interested in earning online income but are unaware that Involve Asia could be their perfect solution.
List down all possible questions that Creators in this phase will potentially ask.
Putting myself as a digital creator, here are 3 questions I immediately have:
- What affiliate products to promote?
- How to generate my affiliate links?
- How to promote my affiliate links?
Great, so our YouTube video tutorials should be handling the objections above. But before we create any videos, do this:
STEP 2: Set Up Your Funnel
Make sure you have a way to collect and convert the views into leads (new users) before you begin creating any YouTube video.
This process is called ‘building a funnel.’
In my scenario, Involve Asia already has a sign-up page:
All I have to do is drive traffic to that page and encourage my audience to sign-up.
If you’re a SaaS company, place your new user sign-up page in the YouTube video description.
If your business is not a SaaS company, you can create an opt-in page using:
- Your website builder (WordPress or Clickfunnels)
- Email software (Convertkit or Mail Chimp)
Now we got the technicality bit out of the way, let’s move on to the next step:
STEP 3: Become a REAL User
This is where many marketers struggle.
Become a REAL USER & get some real results using your SaaS.
In this case study, I:
- Registered as a Creator with Involve Asia
- Started promoting affiliate products on my personal social media accounts
- Get people to buy my affiliate recommendations
- Earned real affiliate income
Here’s my dashboard as proof:
You’ll need plenty of these screenshots in your YouTube tutorial videos to appear trustworthy and transparent.
Once you have REAL results, let’s move on to:
STEP 4: High-Converting YouTube Video Tutorial Formula
Here’s my tried & tested formula to create a high-converting YouTube tutorial video (bookmark this):
- Intro: How this video will transform the viewer from A to B (15 seconds).
- Show my real results as proof (screenshots)
- A quick explanation of the overall concept (30 to 60 seconds).
- The honest pros & cons.
- Tips to avoid failure for beginners
- Call to Action: Sign up with the link in the description.
You can use timestamps on your YouTube video to help the viewer navigate to their desired section. Here’s an example:
Now you know the formula for a good YouTube tutorial, it’s time for lights, camera, and action!
STEP 5: Record Your Video Tutorial
Tutorial videos are easy to produce as you’ll be using your webcam & screen recording software to teach people how to use the SaaS.
I recommend two AI software to make your recording super easy (both have free plans to try):
Here are my English YouTube video tutorial (least performing):
Here are my two YouTube Video tutorials in the local language (Bahasa Malaysia), which are the best performing of the bunch:
If you haven’t noticed yet, my video quality is not impressive.
However, as long as the audio is clear and the content is solving your target client’s pain points, you should still get leads.
Be as genuinely helpful as possible & explain how to use your SaaS as if you’re talking to a close friend.
If you do it right, you’ll start getting comments like these:
After publishing your YouTube videos, it may take time to gain organic traffic.
So here’s a little trick that I do to get leads quickly while we wait for YouTube’s algorithm to do its magic:
STEP 6: Repurpose YouTube Videos for Max Reach
To hasten the process for you getting inbound leads, here’s my little secret:
I repurpose the YouTube video into different formats.
Here’s how I do it:
Use the YouTube script and repurpose it as a blog post on your website. This is an effective way to capture free SEO traffic.
From the blog post, I can repurpose it into a Twitter thread.
To capture as much attention as possible, I started the hook with the amount of money I earned:
A viral Twitter thread will get you inbound leads quickly but will also die off in 24 hours.
A YouTube video & blog post may not get you leads immediately but will continue to compound over time, making it an excellent long-term strategy.
Combining YouTube with Twitter will be a powerful marketing strategy.
Key Takeaway
STEP 2: Set Up Your Funnel
STEP 3: Become a REAL User
STEP 4: High-Converting YouTube Video Tutorial Formula
STEP 5: Record Your Video Tutorial
STEP 6: Repurpose YouTube Videos for Max Reach
